FC Lazika earned a convincing 3-1 victory over FC Gori at the Gori City Stadium, continuing their strong run in the Georgian second division. The result moves Lazika into the promotion playoff places, while Gori slip further away from the top half of the table.

The visitors started brightly and took the lead in the 11th minute when Data Badriashvili curled a free-kick into the top corner. Gori equalised in the 30th minute through a scrappy goal from Giorgi Mkheidze after a corner wasn't cleared.
