Concarneau 2-1 Paris 13 Atletico was a hard-fought French Championnat National contest on October 4, 2026, with the home side doing enough in the middle hour of the match to secure a valuable three points at Stade Guy-Piriou.

Concarneau vs Paris 13 Atletico match report

Concarneau began with energy and intent, pressing Paris 13 Atletico high up the pitch and forcing errors in the visitors’ build-up. That pressure produced the opening goal through Baptiste Guyon, who finished calmly after a turnover in midfield. Concarneau doubled their lead after the break when Loïc Rivoal found space inside the box and converted from close range. Paris 13 Atletico pulled one back late through Mamadou Diarra, but the home side held on through the closing minutes.

The 2-1 scoreline was fair reward for Concarneau’s control over the middle of the match, though Paris 13 Atletico will feel they left themselves with too much to do after a slow start.

Key moments

• 27th minute – Concarneau 1-0: Baptiste Guyon pounced on a loose ball and placed his shot beyond the goalkeeper.
• 68th minute – Concarneau 2-0: Loïc Rivoal doubled the lead with a close-range finish after a well-worked move down the right.
• 84th minute – Concarneau 2-1: Mamadou Diarra gave Paris 13 Atletico hope with a determined finish inside the area.

Tactical story

Concarneau set up in a 4-3-3 system and looked to win the ball high, using their midfield trio to crowd Paris 13 Atletico’s deep-lying playmakers. The hosts attacked with width, stretching the visitors’ back four and creating room for late runs into the box. Paris 13 Atletico preferred a 4-2-3-1 shape and tried to play through the thirds, but they struggled to cope with Concarneau’s intensity until the final 20 minutes.

After the second goal, Concarneau dropped slightly deeper and invited pressure. That decision almost backfired when Diarra scored, but the home defence remained composed in the air and cleared several late crosses to protect the win.

Standout players

Guyon was central to Concarneau’s best attacking moments, linking play and scoring the opening goal. Rivoal’s movement in the box produced the winner, while the midfield trio worked hard to deny Paris 13 Atletico time on the ball. For the visitors, Diarra was a bright spark off the bench and took his goal well, but it was not enough to rescue a point.

Championnat National table impact

This is the kind of home win that can shape a season in the French third tier. Concarneau add three points to their tally and build confidence, while Paris 13 Atletico remain in need of consistency if they are to move away from the lower reaches of the table. In a league where away form is often unpredictable, Concarneau’s ability to close out a narrow lead could prove just as important as their attacking play.
