Jeanne d'Arc Drancy produced one of the standout performances of the Championnat National 2 weekend, dismantling Mulhouse 4-0 in a match that was effectively settled long before the final whistle. The home side were ruthless in front of goal, clinical in transition, and utterly dominant across every phase of the game.

A First Half That Set the Tone

Drancy came out with clear intent, pressing Mulhouse high and forcing errors in the visitors' build-up. The opening goal arrived early enough to settle any nerves, and from that moment the hosts controlled the rhythm of the contest. Mulhouse struggled to keep possession for any sustained period, and each turnover seemed to carry a threat.

The second goal doubled the advantage before the interval and left Mulhouse with a mountain to climb. Drancy's midfield dictated terms throughout, winning second balls and feeding their forwards quickly, while the defensive line held a disciplined high position that repeatedly caught the visitors offside.

Second Half and Standout Performers

• Drancy added two more goals after the break, underlining their superiority rather than easing off.
• The back four kept a clean sheet, limiting Mulhouse to very few clear sights on goal.
• Mulhouse's best moments came from set pieces, but they were comfortably dealt with.

The 4-0 scoreline will do wonders for Drancy's goal difference and confidence, and it sends a clear message to the rest of the division. Mulhouse, meanwhile, will need a quick reset; conceding four on the road is the kind of result that demands a response in the next fixture.
