Played under the lights at a packed home venue, Putian secured a hard-fought 1–0 victory to strengthen their position in the regional standings.

Match Overview

The match kicked off at 19:35 local time with both sides showing early intent. Putian, buoyed by home support, pressed high from the first whistle. The decisive moment arrived in the second half when Putian's forward capitalised on a defensive lapse, slotting home from close range.

Key Moments

• Late pressure: Pingtan pushed forward in the final ten minutes but could not find an equaliser. Putian's defence held firm to secure all three points.

Standout Players

For Pingtan, the midfield engine worked tirelessly but lacked the final pass to unlock the stubborn Putian defence.

League Impact

The result keeps Putian in contention near the top of the Fujian Football City League table. Pingtan, meanwhile, will rue missed chances but remain a competitive side as the season progresses. With several rounds still to play, every point carries weight in this tightly contested regional campaign.
