Match: Ningde Team 0–0 Longyan Team
Fujian Football City League | May 10, 2026

Ningde Team and Longyan Team played out a goalless draw in their Fujian Football City League clash at the Ningde Sports Center. Despite both sides creating several opportunities, neither could find the back of the net in a match that was high on effort but low on finishing quality.

Match Summary

The game started at a frantic pace, with Ningde pressing high and forcing Longyan into early mistakes. Home striker Zhang Wei fired a shot just wide in the 12th minute after a neat one-two with midfielder Liu Yang. Longyan also had their chances: wang Kai saw his header from a corner saved by the goalkeeper in the 28th minute.

The second half followed a similar pattern. Ningde dominated possession but lacked creativity in the final third. Longyan, content to sit deep and counter, nearly stole the game in the 74th minute when substitute Chen Yiming’s long-range effort rattled the crossbar. Both teams pushed for a late winner but were let down by poor decision-making and wayward shooting.

• Shots on target: Ningde 3 – 2 Longyan

Standings Impact

The point keeps Ningde Team in 6th place with 9 points from 7 matches in the 12-team league. Longyan remain 10th with 6 points, just two points above the relegation zone. Both teams will feel they dropped two points rather than gained one, given the defensive nature of the game.

Key Talking Points

Ningde’s lack of a clinical finisher was evident once again – they have scored only 5 goals in 7 matches, the second-lowest in the division. Longyan, meanwhile, continue to struggle on the road, having failed to win any of their four away fixtures this season.

What’s Next

Ningde will travel to table-toppers Fuzhou FC on May 17, a daunting test for a side desperate for goals. Longyan return home to face Sanming Team, a match they will view as a chance to climb away from the drop zone.
