Lahden Reipas Overcome Puiu 3-1 in Finnish Ykkonen Thriller

Lahden Reipas continued their strong start to the Finnish Ykkonen season with a convincing 3-1 home victory over Puiu on May 8, 2026. A lively first-half display set the foundation, as the home side raced into a two-goal lead before the interval and never looked back.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 14th minute when winger Onni Laitinen cut inside from the left and fired a low shot into the far corner. Reipas doubled their advantage just before half-time through forward Eetu Virtanen, who latched onto a through ball and finished calmly past the Puiu goalkeeper.
