In one of the most entertaining matches of the Finnish Kolmonen season so far, FC Kontu edged out PPS with a dramatic 4–3 victory on Friday night. The home side raced into a commanding lead, survived a spirited second‑half fightback, and ultimately held on for three valuable points.

The match exploded into life inside the first ten minutes. FC Kontu opened the scoring in the 6th minute when a cross from the right deflected off a PPS defender and fell kindly for midfielder Onni Vainio, who swept home from close range.
