Tactical Story

Pärnu JK Vaprus II lined up with a youthful, high-energy approach, using wide overloads and quick combinations to stretch the Tabasalu defence. Their midfield pressed aggressively, forcing turnovers and allowing the team to sustain attacks in the opponent’s half.

Tabasalu Charma were more conservative, sitting deeper and looking to spring forward on the break. That strategy worked well for periods of the second half, especially after their equaliser, but Vaprus II’s persistence and superior possession eventually told. The home side’s willingness to keep pushing late in the match was the difference between one point and three.

Standout Players

Markus Leppik was influential throughout, not only for his opening goal but also for his link-up play between midfield and attack. Rasmus Kaljula delivered the match-winning moment and grew into the game as it became more stretched.

For Tabasalu Charma, Karl-Erik Saar was the standout performer, taking his goal well and causing problems with his movement. Their goalkeeper also made several important saves to keep the scoreline close until the final whistle.

Season Impact

The three points help Pärnu JK Vaprus II strengthen their position in the Esiliiga B table and continue their push for a strong finish to the campaign. For Tabasalu Charma, the defeat is a setback, but their performance showed enough quality to suggest they can bounce back quickly in their next fixture.
