Kidderminster Harriers and Barrow shared the spoils at Aggborough in a competitive 1-1 National League draw. Both teams had spells of superiority, but neither could find a winning goal, leaving supporters with a keenly contested match that offered plenty of endeavour in difficult early-season conditions.

A well-matched opening period

The first half was played at a quick tempo, with both sides pressing aggressively and few clear openings created. Kidderminster looked dangerous from wide areas, swinging several inviting crosses into the Barrow penalty area, while Barrow relied on their physical presence at set-pieces. Their equaliser arrived with around 20 minutes remaining, as a corner was only half-cleared and the loose ball was smashed home from the edge of the area.

Both teams had opportunities to win the game in a frantic closing period. Kidderminster forced a good save one-on-one after a swift counter-attack, while Barrow went close with a header that flashed just over the crossbar in injury time. The final whistle brought a fair result, with neither side doing quite enough to claim a decisive advantage.
