Radnik Krizevci 0-2 NK Solin — NK Solin claimed a solid away win in the Croatian Second Football League, defeating Radnik Krizevci 2-0 on Saturday evening. A goal in each half was enough to secure all three points, as Solin controlled the game with a disciplined and efficient display.

Match Overview

Solin took the lead in the 22nd minute with a well-placed shot from just inside the penalty area. Radnik Krizevci tried to respond immediately, but their attacking efforts were met with a stubborn Solin defence. The visitors doubled their lead just after the hour mark, converting a penalty after a foul in the box. From there, Solin managed the game expertly, slowing the tempo and denying Radnik any clear chances.

Radnik Krizevci enjoyed plenty of possession in the final third but lacked a cutting edge. Their best opportunity came in the 75th minute when a header from a corner clipped the top of the crossbar. It was a night of frustration for the home side, who could not find a way past Solin’s goalkeeper.

Tactical Story

Solin set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, looking to absorb pressure and hit on the counter. Their midfield two shielded the back four effectively, forcing Radnik Krizevci to play wide, where crosses were comfortably dealt with. Radnik’s manager urged his full-backs forward in the second half, but that only left gaps at the back, which Solin nearly exploited further. Solin’s game management in the final 20 minutes was textbook, keeping the ball in the corners and drawing fouls.

Standout Players

Solin’s goalscorer was lively throughout, linking play and taking his chance well. The central midfielder who won the penalty was also influential, driving forward and winning possession. For Radnik, the left-back was their most positive outlet, overlapping consistently and delivering dangerous balls into the box. Their goalkeeper made a couple of smart stops to keep the score down.

Season Impact

With this win, NK Solin climb the Croatian Second Football League standings and maintain their push for a strong finish. Radnik Krizevci remain in need of points to pull clear of the lower reaches. The defeat highlights the importance of taking chances, as Radnik’s possession without penetration proved costly. Solin, meanwhile, will be delighted with a professional away performance that keeps their momentum going.
