Key moments

Naestved’s opener came after a period of sustained pressure, with the home side forcing Thisted into defensive mistakes and capitalising on a chance inside the penalty area. The goal lifted Naestved, but Thisted stayed composed and worked their way back into the game.

The equaliser arrived when Thisted found space between Naestved’s midfield and defence, finishing a well-constructed attacking move. With the score at 1-1, both teams pushed for the next goal. Naestved regained the lead in the second half, converting a decisive opportunity to make it 2-1. Thisted pressed late for another equaliser, but Naestved defended their box well and held on for the win.

Tactical story

Naestved HG Women used an aggressive pressing approach in the first half, trying to force turnovers in Thisted’s half. Their midfield worked hard to close down passing lanes, and their wide players offered options in attack. The home side’s willingness to push forward created chances, though it also left space for Thisted to exploit on the counter.

Thisted FC Women’s equaliser came from better control of possession and more patient build-up. The visitors stretched Naestved’s defence and found gaps in the wide areas. In the second half, however, Naestved adjusted their shape, protected the central areas better, and found the winning goal through a more direct attacking sequence. The home side’s ability to respond after conceding was the key difference.

Standout performers

Naestved’s attacking players were influential throughout, combining well and creating problems for Thisted’s back line. The midfield provided energy and supported both the press and the attack. Defensively, Naestved recovered after the equaliser and made important clearances in the closing stages to protect the 2-1 lead.

For Thisted FC Women, the midfield worked hard to bring the team back into the game, and the equalising goal was a reward for their improved passing and movement. The visitors’ goalkeeper also made several saves to keep the score level for long periods. In the end, Thisted were undone by Naestved’s ability to find one more decisive moment.
