SfB Oure claimed a dramatic 3-2 away win over Horsens Freja in the Danish 4th Division on 17 October 2026, surviving a determined second-half comeback from the hosts. The visitors built a two-goal lead, saw it wiped out, and then found a late winner to take all three points in a compelling contest.

Match overview

SfB Oure started strongly and looked the more settled side in the opening exchanges. Tactical story

SfB Oure’s early control came from their aggressive pressing and quick ball recovery in midfield. They denied Horsens Freja time on the ball and forced the hosts into mistakes near their own penalty area. Going forward, the visitors looked dangerous whenever they attacked the space behind the full-backs.

Horsens Freja’s comeback was built on a more direct approach. They pushed their wide players higher, delivered early crosses into the box, and won more second balls as the game opened up. For a period, SfB Oure struggled to cope with the increased tempo. The late winner, however, showed the visitors’ resilience; they regained their composure and found a decisive moment when the match seemed to be slipping away.

Standout performers

SfB Oure’s midfield was central to the win, providing energy in the press and quality in possession. The forward line also deserves credit for taking the early chances that gave the visitors a platform. Defensively, there were nervous moments during Horsens Freja’s comeback, but the team responded when it mattered most.

Horsens Freja’s second-half display was full of character. The hosts showed real attacking ambition and were rewarded with two goals, but they were ultimately undone by the timing of SfB Oure’s late strike. Their response after falling behind will encourage the coaching staff, even if the result was disappointing.

Season impact

The 3-2 win is a significant result for SfB Oure in the Danish 4th Division. Winning away after surrendering a two-goal lead demonstrates character and could prove valuable as the season develops. The visitors will want to tighten up defensively, but the three points are what matter most.

For Horsens Freja, the defeat is a tough one to absorb. A strong comeback deserved at least a draw, but the late concession highlights the fine margins in a competitive league. The team must take the positive aspects of their second-half performance into the next fixture.
