Match overview

The first half was evenly contested, with Povltava FA enjoying slightly more possession but struggling to create clear chances. SK Motorlet Praha sat in a compact block, inviting pressure and looking to hit on the break. Their discipline kept the game goalless at the interval.

Motorlet took the lead shortly after the restart. A quick transition caught Povltava FA out of position, and a composed finish put the visitors ahead. The goal forced the home side to take more risks, which in turn created more space for Motorlet.

The second goal arrived as Povltava FA pushed forward. Motorlet won the ball in midfield and moved it quickly into the attacking third, where a clinical strike made it 2-0. From there, the visitors managed the game with maturity, restricting their opponents to half-chances.

Key moments

• First-half stalemate: Povltava FA controlled possession but could not find a way through Motorlet's organised defence.
• Opening goal: Motorlet broke the deadlock early in the second half with a fast counter-attack.
• Second goal: Another quick transition doubled the lead and left Povltava FA with a mountain to climb.
• Late pressure: Povltava FA threw players forward, but Motorlet's goalkeeper remained untroubled.

Tactical story

SK Motorlet Praha set up with a disciplined 4-4-2, keeping their lines close and forcing Povltava FA into wide areas. They were happy to concede possession in harmless zones and then attack with purpose once they won the ball back. Their two goals both came from quick, direct moves.

Povltava FA used a 4-3-3 and tried to overload the flanks, but their crosses were often dealt with by Motorlet's centre-backs. When they did find space between the lines, the final pass was lacking. As the game wore on, their frustration grew, and the spaces behind their full-backs became increasingly inviting for the visitors.

Standout players

Motorlet's midfield was excellent, winning second balls and launching attacks. The centre-back pairing also stood out with a commanding aerial display. For Povltava FA, the left winger was their most dangerous outlet, but he lacked support in the box. Their goalkeeper made a few good saves to prevent a heavier defeat.

Season impact

Motorlet's away win strengthens their position in the Czech Third League and shows they can win in different ways. Povltava FA remain searching for consistency at home, where they have now struggled to convert possession into goals. The result will give Motorlet confidence, while Povltava FA must regroup quickly.
