FK Pribram B secured an impressive 2-0 away win over Povltava FA in the Czech Third League on 24 October 2026, with a composed performance built on solid defending and timely finishing. Pavel Čermák gave the visitors a first-half lead, and David Král added a second after the break to seal all three points.

Match overview

Povltava FA started with intent and tried to impose themselves on the ball, but FK Pribram B were well organised and difficult to break down. The visitors defended compactly, limited space in central areas and looked dangerous on the counterattack. Their breakthrough came in the 29th minute when Čermák found room just outside the box and produced a precise finish into the bottom corner.

The home side responded with a spell of pressure either side of half-time, pushing more players forward in search of an equaliser. Pribram B absorbed the pressure, stayed patient and struck again in the 74th minute. Král latched onto a loose ball after a quick transition and calmly converted to make it 2-0. Povltava FA continued to probe late on, but the visitors managed the game well and kept a clean sheet.

Tactical story

FK Pribram B set up with a disciplined defensive structure and looked to spring forward quickly when Povltava FA lost the ball. Their midfield stayed close together, closing the central lanes and forcing the home side wide. That shape made it difficult for Povltava to find rhythm in the final third, and the visitors grew in confidence after taking the lead.

Povltava FA had more possession but struggled to create clear-cut chances against a deep and organised block. Their best moments came from wide deliveries and second balls around the penalty area, but Pribram B defended those situations well. The second goal was a perfect example of the visitors’ game plan: a quick recovery, a direct pass forward and a composed finish from Král.

Standout players

Čermák was influential for Pribram B, combining energy in midfield with the quality to score the opening goal. Král’s movement and finishing made him a constant threat on the break, while the visiting defence deserved credit for a collective clean-sheet performance. For Povltava FA, the goalkeeper made several good saves to keep the scoreline respectable, and the midfield worked hard to keep the team pushing until the final whistle.

League impact

The away victory strengthens FK Pribram B’s position in the Czech Third League and highlights the value of their disciplined approach. Povltava FA remain with work to do after a frustrating afternoon in front of goal, but their overall effort and willingness to keep attacking offers some encouragement. Pribram B will take confidence from a professional road performance, while Povltava FA will focus on turning possession into more dangerous chances in their next outing.
