Tactical story

Pardubice B fielded a young side with several academy prospects, and they showed plenty of energy but lacked experience in game management. Benatky set up to absorb pressure and hit on the break, and their direct approach caused problems all afternoon. Pardubice's midfield struggled to track runners, and their defence was guilty of switching off at crucial moments. Benatky's willingness to shoot from distance also kept the Pardubice goalkeeper busy.

Standout players

Benatky's Tomáš Horák was the hero with the late winner and an all-action display. Jan Krejčí also impressed in midfield. For Pardubice B, the young striker who scored the opener showed promising movement, while the captain tried to drive the team forward.

Season impact

The win lifts Benatky nad Jizerou into the top half of the Czech Third League table, giving them a valuable away victory. Pardubice B remain in the lower reaches, but as a reserve team their priority is player development. The defeat is a learning curve for the young squad, while Benatky will take confidence from their resilience. Next up, Pardubice B face another tough test, and Benatky will look to build on this result.
