Kravare edged past Pusta Polom 2-1 in a tightly contested Czech Fourth Division fixture played on 4 October 2026, collecting three valuable points on home soil. The match was decided by fine margins, with the hosts making the most of their chances while Pusta Polom were left to rue a series of missed opportunities in front of goal.

Match Overview

From the opening whistle, Kravare looked the more purposeful side, pressing high and forcing Pusta Polom into hurried clearances. The visitors gradually settled into the game and carved out a handful of half-chances of their own, but the hosts always carried a threat on the counter-attack. A single-goal cushion proved enough in the end, though the closing stages were tense as Pusta Polom pushed bodies forward in search of an equaliser.

Key Moments

• Opening goal: Kravare broke the deadlock midway through the first half, finishing off a well-worked move down the right flank.
• Second goal: The home side doubled their advantage after the interval, converting a set-piece opportunity with a powerful header.
• Consolation for Pusta Polom: The visitors pulled one back with a clinical strike, setting up a nervy final period.
• Late pressure: Pusta Polom threw numbers forward and forced two late corners, but Kravare's defence held firm.

Tactical Story

Kravare lined up with a compact midfield and looked to spring forward quickly whenever possession turned over. That approach worked well in the first half, when Pusta Polom left gaps between their defensive and midfield lines. The visitors responded after the break by switching to a more direct style, pumping crosses into the box and winning second balls. It made for an entertaining contest, but Kravare's ability to defend their penalty area under pressure proved decisive.

Standout Performers

Kravare's midfield engine was central to the win, repeatedly winning the ball back and setting the tempo. The home centre-back pairing also deserves credit for standing tall during the late aerial bombardment. For Pusta Polom, the goalscorer was their brightest spark, while their left winger caused problems whenever he isolated his marker one-on-one.

What It Means

The victory gives Kravare a welcome boost in the Czech Fourth Division table, strengthening their position in the upper half of the standings. Pusta Polom, meanwhile, remain within touching distance of their rivals but will know that converting pressure into goals is the key to climbing the league. In a division where home form often separates the contenders from the mid-table pack, this was exactly the kind of result Kravare needed.
