Slovan Rosice delivered a statement performance on Saturday, 10 October 2026, defeating FK Kunštát 4-1 in the Czech Fifth League. The home side were clinical in front of goal and controlled large stretches of the match, handing Kunštát a defeat that leaves them with plenty to work on as the season progresses.

Match Overview

The 16:15 kick-off saw Rosice start with purpose, pressing high and forcing Kunštát into rushed clearances. The early pressure eventually told, and once the first goal arrived, the home team's confidence visibly grew. By half-time the pattern of the match had been established: Rosice dictating the play, Kunštát trying to survive on counter-attacks.

The second half brought more of the same. Rosice added to their lead, Kunštát grabbed a consolation goal, and the hosts finished the job with a fourth to complete a convincing 4-1 victory in front of their own supporters.

Key Moments

• First goal: Rosice broke the deadlock after a spell of sustained pressure, finishing calmly to settle the home crowd.
• Quickfire second: The lead was doubled shortly afterwards, catching Kunštát cold and forcing the visitors to chase the game.
• Kunštát's reply: A well-taken goal gave the away side a foothold and briefly threatened a comeback.
• Restoring control: Rosice responded with a third, extinguishing any momentum their opponents had built.
• The finish: A late fourth goal put the result beyond doubt and capped a dominant team display.

Tactical Story

Slovan Rosice were set up to dominate possession and squeeze the opposition high up the pitch. Their midfield pressed aggressively, winning the ball in advanced areas and turning those turnovers into shooting opportunities. The wide players provided constant width, while the forwards rotated intelligently to pull Kunštát's defensive line out of shape.

Kunštát's plan was more reactive. They defended in a compact block and looked to spring forward quickly when they won the ball, a strategy that produced their goal but also left them exposed when moves broke down. The physical toll of chasing possession for long periods was evident in the closing stages, when Rosice found extra space to add their fourth goal.

Standout Performers

Rosice's attacking unit was the story of the afternoon, combining movement and finishing to overwhelm the visiting defence. The midfield anchor who repeatedly broke up Kunštát's counters also deserves mention, providing the platform for the team's forward play. For Kunštát, the goalscorer showed good composure, and their goalkeeper made a handful of important saves to prevent the scoreline from becoming more lopsided.

Table and Season Impact

Wins of this nature matter in the Czech Fifth League, a division where home form can be the difference between a comfortable mid-table finish and a push towards the top places. A 4-1 victory not only delivers three points but also provides a boost to goal difference, which can be decisive in the final reckoning.

For FK Kunštát, the defeat highlights the importance of defensive resilience on the road. Conceding four goals in a single away fixture is a difficult result to absorb, but the team showed enough attacking intent to suggest they can respond in the coming weeks.

What's Next

Slovan Rosice will look to build on this performance and turn their home ground into a fortress for the remainder of the campaign. Kunštát, meanwhile, must tighten up defensively and find a way to stay in matches for longer spells if they are to collect points away from home. Both clubs now move on to their next fixtures with very different moods — one full of confidence, the other searching for answers.
