Doksy 0-1 SK Posazavan Porici N/Saz: Away Side Edge Tight Czech Fifth League Clash

SK Posazavan Porici N/Saz claimed a 1-0 away victory over Doksy in the Czech Fifth League on Saturday, 17 October 2026. The only goal of the 21:30 contest settled a closely fought match, with the visitors showing greater cutting edge in the final third.

Match overview

Doksy enjoyed more of the ball in the opening stages, building attacks patiently and looking to use the width of the pitch. SK Posazavan Porici N/Saz defended in a organized block and looked to strike on the counter. The first half was short on clear chances, with both defences reading the game well and limiting space around the penalty areas.

The decisive moment came in the second half. Posazavan found a way through after a period of sustained pressure and then defended their lead with determination. Doksy pushed forward in search of an equaliser and had several late deliveries into the box, but the away side held on for an important three points.

Key moment

The winning goal arrived in the 69th minute. SK Posazavan Porici N/Saz worked the ball into a dangerous position and finished with a low strike that beat the Doksy goalkeeper. It was a goal that came against the run of possession but rewarded the visitors’ patience and willingness to attack quickly when the opportunity appeared.

Tactical story

Doksy’s game plan revolved around possession and patient build-up. Their midfield tried to dictate the tempo, and the full-backs pushed forward to create width. However, the final pass was often delayed, allowing Posazavan to recover defensively. Doksy’s best moments came from crosses and second balls, but they struggled to test the goalkeeper consistently.

Posazavan’s approach was more reactive. They stayed compact, denied central spaces and looked to transition quickly after winning the ball. That strategy produced the decisive goal and allowed them to protect the lead in the closing stages. Their defenders dealt well with late pressure, clearing crosses and blocking shots when Doksy increased the intensity.

Standout performers

The SK Posazavan Porici N/Saz goalkeeper was central to the victory, making several confident claims and one important late save. The away side’s centre-backs also deserved credit for their aerial work and positioning during Doksy’s second-half pressure. For Doksy, the midfield kept working until the final whistle and the wide players provided energy, but the team lacked the finishing touch needed to turn possession into goals.

Season impact

The away win gives SK Posazavan Porici N/Saz a valuable boost in the Czech Fifth League and shows the value of defensive discipline on the road. Doksy will be disappointed to lose at home after seeing plenty of the ball, but the performance highlighted areas to work on in the final third. In a tight division, a single goal can decide the outcome, and Posazavan made theirs count.
