AFK Tuchlovice and Čelákovice played out a 1-1 draw in the Czech Fifth League on Saturday, 24 October 2026, with both sides taking a point from a competitive and evenly matched encounter.

Tuchlovice took the lead in the first half through a well-executed set-piece, but Čelákovice responded after the break with a composed equaliser. Neither team was able to find a winner in the closing stages, despite late pressure at both ends, and the final whistle confirmed a result that felt fair on the balance of play.

Match overview

The home side started positively and used the width of the pitch well in the opening half-hour. Their midfield pressed aggressively and forced Čelákovice into several hurried clearances. The breakthrough came from a corner, with a powerful header finding the bottom corner and giving Tuchlovice a deserved lead.

Čelákovice improved significantly after the interval. They moved the ball more patiently, pushed their full-backs higher and began to create problems in the wide areas. The equaliser came from a flowing move, finished with a low shot across the goalkeeper. Both sides had chances to win it late on, but neither could produce the decisive moment.

• 45th minute: Čelákovice went close with a free-kick that curled just wide of the post.
• 58th minute: Čelákovice equalised with a low finish after a quick passing move down the right.
• 72nd minute: Tuchlovice’s goalkeeper made an important save to deny a counterattack.
• 88th minute: Both teams had half-chances in a frantic final spell, but the score stayed level.

Tactical story

Tuchlovice’s first-half performance was built on energy and set-piece quality. They pressed in short bursts, won the ball back quickly and delivered several dangerous crosses into the box. The opening goal rewarded that approach, but the home side struggled to maintain the same intensity after the break.

Čelákovice adjusted well at half-time, pushing their midfield higher and looking to isolate the Tuchlovice full-backs. The equaliser came from exactly that pattern: a wide overload, a sharp pass into the box and a finish that gave the goalkeeper no chance. In the final 20 minutes, both teams looked capable of winning it, but the defences held firm.

Standout players

Čelákovice’s right-sided midfielder was one of the best players on the pitch, constantly finding space and delivering dangerous balls into the box. Tuchlovice’s centre-back was strong in the air and dealt with several late crosses, while their goalkeeper made a crucial save at 1-1 to preserve the point.

Season impact

The draw keeps both teams moving in the Czech Fifth League and underlines how tight the competition can be. Tuchlovice will be frustrated to let a lead slip, but they showed enough quality in the first half to suggest they can pick up wins in similar matches. Čelákovice, meanwhile, will take confidence from their second-half response and their ability to create chances on the road.
