AFK Tisnov were beaten 1-2 by SK Moravske Kninice in the Czech Fifth League on Saturday, 24 October 2026, as the visitors came from behind to claim a valuable away win.

Tisnov made the brighter start and took the lead inside the opening 20 minutes, but Moravske Kninice responded well before half-time and then found the winner in the second period. It was a competitive fifth-tier contest, decided by the visitors’ ability to adjust their pressing and make better use of the spaces that opened up after the break.

Match overview

The home side began with energy and looked to play forward quickly whenever they won the ball. That approach paid off early when a well-worked move down the left ended with a low finish into the far corner. Tisnov’s lead gave them confidence, and for a short spell they looked capable of doubling their advantage.

Moravske Kninice, however, stayed calm. They tightened their midfield, began to press higher up the pitch and forced Tisnov into longer clearances. The equaliser arrived before the interval, and from that point the visitors looked the more balanced side. The second half was more open, with both teams committing players forward, but Moravske Kninice found the decisive goal in the 74th minute.

Key moments

• 18th minute: AFK Tisnov took the lead with a composed finish after a quick attacking transition.
• 41st minute: SK Moravske Kninice equalised with a low strike from the edge of the box after sustained pressure.
• 57th minute: Tisnov’s goalkeeper made a strong save to keep the score level.
• 74th minute: Moravske Kninice scored the winner, finishing off a move that stretched the home defence from right to left.
• 86th minute: Tisnov headed a late corner over the bar as they pushed for an equaliser.

Tactical story

Tisnov’s early goal came from exactly the kind of direct attacking they had planned: win the ball in midfield, move it wide quickly and attack the space behind the full-back. But after taking the lead, they dropped slightly too deep and allowed Moravske Kninice to establish a rhythm in midfield.

The visitors’ adjustment was key. By pushing their midfield line higher and closing the gap between defence and attack, they prevented Tisnov from playing through the middle. That forced the home side into longer passes, which were easier for the Moravske Kninice centre-backs to defend. The winning goal reflected that control: the visitors moved the ball patiently before accelerating into the box with a well-timed run.

Standout players

Moravske Kninice’s midfield duo were central to the comeback, winning tackles and keeping the ball moving under pressure. The match-winner also produced a mature performance, showing good movement and composure in the final third. For Tisnov, the opening goalscorer was their brightest attacking threat, while the goalkeeper kept them in the game with a fine second-half save.

Season impact

The away win is a significant boost for SK Moravske Kninice in the Czech Fifth League, where consistency on the road can shape the look of the table. For AFK Tisnov, the defeat is a lesson in game management: after a strong start, they were unable to hold their advantage or control the tempo of the match.
