FK Pardubice Hit Kozlovice for Six in Czech Cup

FK Pardubice produced a ruthless Czech Cup performance on 16 September 2026, defeating Kozlovice 6-0 away from home. The professional side showed their superiority from start to finish, scoring early and adding goals at regular intervals to book their place in the next round.

Match Overview

FK Pardubice approached the cup tie with focus and intensity, refusing to allow Kozlovice any time on the ball. The visitors pressed high, moved the ball crisply, and attacked with purpose. Kozlovice, who had hoped to make the most of home advantage, were overwhelmed by the pace and precision of Pardubice's play.

An early goal settled any nerves and set the tone for a one-sided contest. Pardubice doubled their lead before the half-hour mark and added a third before half-time. The second half followed a similar pattern, with Pardubice managing the game intelligently while still creating chances. The 6-0 scoreline reflected their dominance and clinical finishing.

Tactical Story

FK Pardubice lined up with an aggressive 4-2-3-1 formation, using their midfield press to force Kozlovice into mistakes. Their wide players stayed high and stretched the defense, while the full-backs provided constant support. The movement of Zlatohlávek and Jeřábek between the lines was particularly difficult for Kozlovice to track.

Kozlovice tried to defend in a deep block, but they struggled to clear their lines and were punished for giving the ball away in dangerous areas. As the goals went in, their shape became more disjointed, allowing Pardubice to dictate the tempo and create chances almost at will.

Standout Players

Tomáš Zlatohlávek was the star of the show with two goals and constant intelligent movement. Jan Jeřábek impressed with a goal and several driving runs, while Karel Kopecký was dominant in the air. FK Pardubice's goalkeeper had a quiet evening but kept a deserved clean sheet.

Cup Impact

FK Pardubice advance comfortably in the Czech Cup and will take confidence from a dominant away performance. For Kozlovice, the result is a tough lesson against professional opposition, but the cup run still provided valuable experience for the club.
