SK Artis Brno produced a stunning attacking display to win 4-2 at FC Hradec Králové in a thrilling Czech Chance Liga encounter on October 10, 2026. In a match that swung end to end, Brno's clinical finishing and devastating counter-attacks proved too much for a Hradec side that defended naively throughout.

Match Overview

This was a game that promised goals from the outset, and it delivered in spectacular fashion. Brno took the lead inside 20 minutes, only for Hradec to equalise shortly after. But the visitors restored their advantage on the stroke of half-time and then pulled clear in the second half. Hradec kept fighting and reduced the deficit to 3-2, but Brno sealed the win with a late fourth. The scoreline flattered Hradec slightly, as Brno's goalkeeper made several excellent saves to keep them at bay.

Tactical Story

Hradec Králové played a high defensive line, which proved suicidal against Brno's pacey forwards. Brno's manager set up his team to sit deep and spring forward with lightning-quick transitions. Dvořák's movement was exceptional, constantly peeling off the last defender. Hradec dominated possession but were repeatedly caught out by Brno's counter-attacks. The home side's midfield failed to track runners, and their full-backs were exposed time and again. Brno's defensive resilience, led by captain Martin Chrien, was just as important as their attacking flair.

Standout Players

Lukáš Dvořák (Artis Brno): A sensational hat-trick. His pace, composure, and finishing were of the highest order.
Tomáš Souček (Artis Brno): Dominated the midfield and scored a crucial header.
Adam Vlkanova (Hradec Králové): The best player for the hosts, scoring a superb free-kick and creating several chances.
Filip Kubala (Hradec Králové): Made an impact off the bench with a well-taken goal.

Table Impact

The three points lift SK Artis Brno into the top half of the Chance Liga, boosting their confidence after a mixed start to the season. FC Hradec Králové remain in the bottom half, and their defensive frailties are becoming a major problem. Conceding four goals at home is a bitter pill to swallow, and the coach will need to tighten things up quickly to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle.
