Played at the Luneng youth training base, the match was a classic youth academy contest: one side trying to impose a technical, quick-passing identity, the other looking to use physical strength and direct play. Luneng's U14 players, giving away a year in age, responded with energy and intelligence, never allowing Shenzhen Juniors to settle into a comfortable rhythm.

Key Moments

However, Luneng's midfield trio worked tirelessly to screen the defence and recycle possession, ensuring the home side controlled the tempo for long periods.

The winning goal highlighted Luneng's tactical discipline. After winning the ball back in midfield, they moved it quickly through the thirds, drawing Shenzhen's defenders out of position before delivering the decisive finish. It was a goal that reflected the academy's emphasis on technical precision and decision-making under pressure.
