Guangzhou Yinghua Sili U13 produced a confident and resilient home performance to beat Beijing Guoan U13 3-2 in the China Youth Football League (Men's U13 Group) on 19 September 2026. The five-goal contest, played at 15:00, gave the Guangzhou side a valuable three points and showcased the attacking quality running through this young squad.

Match Overview

Guangzhou Yinghua Sili started with purpose, pressing high and looking to move the ball quickly through the middle third. Beijing Guoan U13, organised and patient in possession, grew into the game after the opening exchanges and twice responded to going behind. The match was a true back-and-forth contest, with neither side able to fully control the tempo for long spells.

In the end, it was Guangzhou's sharper finishing and ability to create chances in transition that made the difference. The home team scored three times in a game that demanded concentration until the final whistle, while Beijing Guoan U13 will feel they did enough to take something from the fixture.

Key Moments

• Opening goal: Guangzhou Yinghua Sili struck first after a quick move down the right, with Chen Junhao finishing calmly inside the penalty area.

• Guangzhou regain lead: Li Zixuan restored the home side's advantage early in the second half with a well-placed shot after a driving run.

• Winning moment: Chen Junhao completed his brace late on, arriving at the back post to seal a 3-2 victory for Guangzhou Yinghua Sili.

Tactical Story

Guangzhou Yinghua Sili lined up with an energetic 4-3-3, using wide forwards to stretch Beijing Guoan U13's back line. Their midfield trio worked hard to win second balls and launch quick counter-attacks. Beijing Guoan U13 preferred a 4-2-3-1 shape, building patiently from the back and looking to overload central areas.

The game turned into a battle of transitions. Guangzhou's willingness to press created turnovers in dangerous positions, while Beijing's possession play produced several promising spells. However, Guoan's defensive line was twice caught out by late runs into the box, and those moments proved decisive.

Standout Players

Chen Junhao was the hero for Guangzhou Yinghua Sili, scoring twice and leading the line with maturity beyond his years. Li Zixuan also impressed with his direct running and goal, while the home goalkeeper made a crucial save in the second half to protect the lead. For Beijing Guoan U13, Wang Haoran and Zhao Yichen were the brightest sparks, showing composure in front of goal and linking play intelligently.

Season Impact

The 3-2 win strengthens Guangzhou Yinghua Sili's position in the China Youth Football League (Men's U13 Group) and gives the squad confidence for the fixtures ahead. For Beijing Guoan U13, the result is a tough one to absorb, but the performance showed enough attacking quality to suggest they will bounce back quickly. In youth football, games like this are invaluable for development, and both sets of players will learn plenty from a high-scoring, high-intensity encounter.
