Liaoning Shenbei Hefeng Women claimed a narrow but important 1-0 victory over Zhejiang Hangzhou Women in the CFA Women's Super League on 10 October 2026.

A single goal settled a tightly contested match, with Liaoning’s defensive discipline and game management proving the difference. Zhejiang Hangzhou Women had periods of possession, especially in the second half, but could not find a way through a determined back line.

Match Overview

The game began cautiously, with both teams wary of leaving space behind. Liaoning looked to press in midfield and attack quickly when turnovers occurred, while Zhejiang tried to build patiently from the back. Clear chances were limited in the opening half, but the tactical battle was intense.

As the match progressed, Liaoning’s structure held firm. They defended in compact lines, forced Zhejiang into wide areas and dealt with crosses comfortably. The decisive moment came after the break, when Liaoning found the breakthrough and then protected it with maturity.

Key Moment

The only goal arrived in the second half, following a well-worked attacking move. A quick exchange on the edge of the box opened space, and the finish was placed beyond the goalkeeper. It was exactly the kind of efficient moment that decides tight CFA Women's Super League fixtures.

Tactical Story

Liaoning Shenbei Hefeng Women set up with a disciplined midfield block, making it difficult for Zhejiang to play through the centre. When Zhejiang moved the ball wide, Liaoning’s full-backs and wingers tracked back diligently. The home side’s ability to defend as a unit was the foundation of the win.

Zhejiang Hangzhou Women saw more of the ball after conceding, but their attacks became predictable. They relied on crosses and long-range efforts, which Liaoning’s goalkeeper and centre-backs handled well. The lack of a clear cutting edge in the final third ultimately cost them.

Standout Players

Liaoning’s goalkeeper produced a composed display, claiming crosses and making one important save late on. The goalscorer showed excellent movement and finishing, while the centre-back partnership was strong throughout. For Zhejiang, the midfield worked hard, but the forward line struggled to create high-quality chances.

Table and Season Impact

The three points are valuable for Liaoning Shenbei Hefeng Women as they look to climb the CFA Women's Super League table. Winning 1-0 in such a tight match builds belief in the squad’s defensive resilience. Zhejiang Hangzhou Women will rue a missed opportunity, especially after enjoying spells of control without finding the net.
