Tactical story

Guangdong Women used a high press and quick wide attacks to unsettle Changchun early on. Their goal came from exactly that approach: winning the ball back and attacking before the opposition could reset. Changchun adjusted by slowing the tempo, keeping the ball better and using their midfield to pin Guangdong deeper. The equaliser was the product of that improved control.

Standout players

Lin Yan was Guangdong’s most dangerous attacker, combining pace with sharp movement in the final third. Zhang Rui’s equaliser made her Changchun’s key figure, while both goalkeepers made important saves in a match that remained finely balanced until the final whistle.

Season impact
