Tactical Story

Fujian switched to a more aggressive 4-4-2 after the break, pressing higher and winning the ball in dangerous areas. Their equaliser came from a turnover, and their winner from a set-piece situation that Qingdao failed to defend properly. The substitution of Zhang Rui proved inspired, as she added a physical presence in the box.

For Qingdao, Wang Xin was lively throughout and took her goal well, but she lacked support in the second half. Goalkeeper Li Jing made several good saves to keep her side in the match, but she was helpless for the winning header.
