UB Lebrijana 5-0 CD Ceuta 6 de Junio — UB Lebrijana produced a five-star Copa del Rey display in Lebrija, sweeping aside CD Ceuta 6 de Junio with a performance that combined sharp pressing, patient build-up and ruthless finishing. The Andalusian side were never seriously troubled, and the margin of victory fully reflected their dominance across the ninety minutes.

For Ceuta 6 de Junio, the long trip to mainland Andalusia ended in a chastening defeat, but the tie itself was a notable occasion for a club whose cup runs have become a source of regional pride. On this evidence, though, the gap in sharpness and match rhythm between the two sides was simply too wide to bridge.

Match Overview

The hosts began with clear intent, pushing their full-backs high and overloading the wide areas to pin Ceuta 6 de Junio deep inside their own half. Within the opening twenty minutes the pattern was set: Lebrijana circulated the ball quickly, switched play from flank to flank, and repeatedly found space between the visitors' midfield and defensive lines.

Ceuta 6 de Junio attempted to absorb pressure and counter through direct balls into the channels, but they struggled to keep possession long enough for those counters to develop. Each time they won the ball back, they were immediately swarmed by two or three Lebrijana players, and the turnovers kept the home side camped in advanced positions.

Key Moments

• Opening breakthrough: Lebrijana took the lead with a well-worked move down the left, finished first-time inside the penalty area after a clever pull-back.
• Quickfire double: Two goals in a five-minute burst midway through the first half turned a competitive start into a commanding lead and visibly shook the visitors' confidence.
• Fourth before the break: A set-piece routine delivered the fourth, with a powerful header from a corner that left the goalkeeper with no chance.
• Fifth after the restart: The scoring was completed in the second half when a surging run from midfield ended with a low strike into the bottom corner.

Tactical Story

Lebrijana's midfield trio dictated the tempo. One player dropped deep to collect from the centre-backs, another pushed forward to occupy the opposition's holding midfielder, and the third drifted into pockets of space that Ceuta 6 de Junio never managed to cover. That rotation gave the hosts numerical superiority in central areas and made it easy for them to progress the ball into the final third.

Defensively, Lebrijana were disciplined and aggressive. Their back line stepped up to squeeze the space, catching the visitors offside on several occasions, and their goalkeeper was rarely called upon to make a difficult save. It was a clean sheet built on collective organisation rather than individual heroics.

Standout Performers

The home side's wide attackers were a constant menace, combining pace on the outside with intelligent inside runs, while the centre-forward's link-up play created space for runners from deep. In midfield, the tempo-setter was the heartbeat of the performance, repeatedly turning defence into attack with a single pass.

Ceuta 6 de Junio's goalkeeper deserved credit for a string of saves that prevented an even heavier scoreline, and their captain kept organising throughout, but the night belonged entirely to the hosts.

What It Means

The win propels Lebrijana into the next round of the Copa del Rey and offers a significant boost to morale and finances alike. Cup nights like this are the lifeblood of clubs at this level, and a five-goal victory gives the squad tangible evidence that their style of play can compete against unfamiliar opposition.

For Ceuta 6 de Junio, the focus now shifts back to league commitments and the challenge of recovering quickly from a difficult away day. Cup football can be cruel in its margins, but it also offers the kind of exposure and experience that helps smaller clubs grow.
