Tactical Story

Hang Yuan's 4-2-3-1 formation allowed them to dominate the midfield battle. Their two holding midfielders shielded the back four effectively, while the wide players stretched Taichung's defense. Taichung Blue Whale struggled to find space between the lines and often resorted to hopeful crosses that were easily dealt with. The home side's best moments came from set pieces, but they lacked the finishing touch.

Standout Players

Hang Yuan's goalkeeper was commanding, claiming several crosses and making a crucial save at 1-0. The center-back partnership was rock-solid, winning almost every aerial duel. In midfield, the captain dictated the tempo and provided the assist for the second goal. For Taichung Blue Whale, their left winger was a constant threat with her dribbling, but she was often isolated.

Season Impact

With this result, Hang Yuan FC Women move into a more comfortable position in the Mulan Football League table, keeping pace with the title contenders. Taichung Blue Whale Women remain mid-table and will need to improve their home form if they are to challenge for a top-three finish. The two sides will meet again later in the season, and Taichung will be eager for revenge.
