The win at Yutong International Sports Center was built on patience, pressure and a decisive moment from the bench.

Shijiazhuang Gongfu controlled much of the contest, but Dalian K'un City defended with discipline and looked capable of escaping with a point. Match Overview

The home side started brightly, pressing high and forcing Dalian K'un City into a series of hurried clearances. Shijiazhuang’s midfield duo of Li Chunyu and Zhang Rui kept the ball moving, while the wingers stretched the visitors’ back five. Dalian K'un City, set up to frustrate, offered little in the opening half-hour but grew into the game as a counter-attacking threat.

The breakthrough came 12 minutes later: a quick switch of play found the right-back overlapping, and his low delivery was turned in by Yang He from close range. Dalian K'un City pushed for an equalizer, but a late red card made the task even harder, and Shijiazhuang saw out the closing stages with composure.

The game turned on Shijiazhuang’s willingness to keep both full-backs high and commit bodies into the box during the final 20 minutes.

Standout Players

Yang He made the difference as a substitute, timing his run perfectly for the winning goal. Li Chunyu was influential in midfield, and Shijiazhuang’s back line handled Dalian’s rare counters well. Dalian K'un City goalkeeper Liu Weicheng deserved credit for keeping his side in the match, while center-back Zhang Xiaobin was solid before his late dismissal.

League Impact

The win strengthens Shijiazhuang Gongfu’s position in the Chinese Football League 1 table and keeps them in the conversation for the promotion and play-off places. Dalian K'un City remain in need of points and will be frustrated by another narrow away defeat.
