Chuxiong opened the scoring in the 8th minute when striker Li Wei latched onto a through ball and slotted home. They doubled the lead just six minutes later through a towering header from defender Wang Qiang following a corner. By the 25th minute, it was 3-0 as winger Chen Hao curled a beautiful shot into the top corner from 20 yards.

Second-Half Dominance

The home side continued to pour forward after the break. Li Wei completed his hat-trick with two more goals in the 52nd and 67th minutes, both coming from close-range finishes after patient build-up play.
