Dalian Yingbo B put on a dominant display in the Chinese Football League 2 on Sunday, sweeping aside Wenzhou Professional Football Club 4-0 in a match that highlighted the gulf in sharpness between the two sides. The home team were quicker to every loose ball, more clinical in the final third, and full value for a scoreline that could have been even more emphatic.

Match Overview

Dalian Yingbo B started with real intent, pressing high and forcing Wenzhou Professional Football Club into errors in their own defensive third. The early pressure told, and once the first goal went in the home side's confidence visibly grew. Wenzhou attempted to respond by pushing their full-backs forward, but that only created space for Dalian to exploit on the counterattack.

By half-time the game had a clear shape: Dalian controlling possession and territory, Wenzhou chasing shadows and struggling to sustain any attacking sequences. The second half brought more of the same, with the home side adding to their tally and managing the closing stages comfortably.

Key Moments

• Opening goal: A high press forced a loose pass, and the resulting chance was converted with a low finish.
• Second goal: A sweeping move from defence to attack ended with a tidy finish inside the penalty area.
• Third after the interval: A corner kick was only half-cleared, and the follow-up strike found the bottom corner.
• Fourth goal: A counterattack in the final twenty minutes sealed a comprehensive victory.

Tactical Story

Dalian Yingbo B's pressing structure was the foundation of the win. Their forwards curved their runs to cut off passing lanes into midfield, forcing Wenzhou into long, hopeful balls that were comfortably repelled. In possession, Dalian showed patience in build-up and a willingness to switch play quickly to isolate defenders one-on-one.

Wenzhou Professional Football Club's difficulties stemmed from an inability to hold the ball under pressure. Their midfield was frequently bypassed, leaving the defence exposed, and when they did win possession they lacked the passing quality to break the press. The result was a long afternoon of defensive work and very few clear chances at the other end.

Standout Performers

The Dalian midfield controlled the rhythm of the game, blending combative ball-winning with intelligent distribution. Their attacking players showed composure in front of goal, sharing the goals around the team, while the defence maintained focus to secure a clean sheet.

Wenzhou's goalkeeper deserves credit for several sharp saves that kept the margin from growing further, and their centre-backs battled hard despite being repeatedly exposed.

Season Impact

The victory gives Dalian Yingbo B valuable momentum and a strong goal-difference boost in the Chinese Football League 2 standings. Wenzhou Professional Football Club will need to address their defensive shape and ball retention quickly, as the division offers little margin for error when results begin to slip.
