Cobreloa Women Stun San Marcos de Arica with 3‑2 Comeback

Cobreloa’s women’s team produced a remarkable second‑half revival to beat San Marcos de Arica 3‑2 in the Chilean Women’s Division 1 on July 4. The visitors overturned a two‑goal deficit to claim an impressive away victory.

San Marcos started strongly and took control of the match early. Forward Catalina Rodríguez opened the scoring in the 12th minute, finishing a well‑worked corner. The home side doubled their lead just before the half‑hour mark when midfielder Valentina Muñoz fired a long‑range effort that took a deflection and nestled in the net.
