Cavalry FC 6-0 Supra Du Quebec: Hosts Deliver Six-Goal Statement in Canadian Premier League

Cavalry FC produced one of the most emphatic performances of the Canadian Premier League season, thrashing Supra Du Quebec 6-0 at ATCO Field on September 26, 2026. The hosts were relentless from the first whistle, scoring three times before halftime and adding three more after the break to send a clear message to the rest of the CPL.

Cavalry’s attacking intent was evident immediately. They pressed high, won the ball back in dangerous areas and attacked with numbers. Supra Du Quebec struggled to cope with the speed of Cavalry’s wide play and the movement of their forwards, and the scoreline reflected the gap in execution on the night.

The opening goal arrived in the 4th minute, setting the tone for a long evening for the visitors. Cavalry doubled their lead in the 18th minute after a slick exchange on the edge of the box, and the third came in the 33rd minute when a corner was headed home powerfully. Tactical Story

Cavalry FC’s 4-3-3 shape overwhelmed Supra Du Quebec in every phase. The front three pressed aggressively, the midfield won nearly every second ball, and the full-backs provided constant width. Supra Du Quebec attempted to defend in a low block, but they could not clear their lines or keep possession long enough to relieve pressure.

The most impressive aspect of Cavalry’s performance was their ruthlessness. They did not settle for a comfortable lead; they kept attacking with structure and discipline. Supra Du Quebec, meanwhile, will want to forget this night quickly, as they were second-best in duels, transitions and set pieces.

Standout Players

Cavalry’s attacking players shared the headlines, with a hat-trick hero leading the line and two more forwards combining for goals and assists. The midfield captain controlled the tempo, while the center-back pairing kept a clean sheet and started attacks with crisp passing. For Supra Du Quebec, the goalkeeper made several saves to prevent an even heavier defeat, but there were few other positives.

Canadian Premier League Table Impact

This result strengthens Cavalry FC’s position in the Canadian Premier League standings and boosts their goal difference significantly, which could prove crucial in the race for the top spot. Supra Du Quebec remain in need of a response, both defensively and mentally, after a result that will be remembered as one of the season’s most one-sided matches.
