Tactical Story

Maniema Union’s attacking approach was built on quick passes and intelligent off-the-ball movement. Their midfield dictated the tempo and consistently found pockets of space behind Kabuscorp’s defence. The home side also pressed efficiently, forcing errors and winning the ball back in dangerous areas.

Kabuscorp do Palanca showed flashes of quality on the break but were too open defensively. Their back line struggled to track runners, and they conceded possession too easily in midfield. Maniema’s ability to sustain pressure and convert chances proved decisive.

The midfield duo also impressed with their control and vision, while the defence recovered well after the early equaliser. Kabuscorp’s goalkeeper made several saves to prevent an even heavier defeat.

Kabuscorp do Palanca will need a remarkable performance in the return leg to keep their hopes alive. For Maniema, the focus will now shift to maintaining the same intensity and discipline away from home.
