Ita Mbong Women 0-0 Vision Foot (W): Stalemate in Cameroon Women's League

The Cameroon Women's League served up a tightly contested goalless draw between Ita Mbong Women and Vision Foot (W) on June 6, 2026. Under the evening lights at 21:00, both sides battled for supremacy but neither could find the back of the net in a match defined by resolute defending and missed opportunities.

Match Dynamics

From the first whistle, it was clear that this would be a tactical chess match. Vision Foot (W) pressed high and attempted to disrupt Ita Mbong’s build-up play, while the hosts relied on quick counter-attacks through their pacey wingers. Despite several half-chances – including a close-range header that struck the crossbar in the 67th minute – the game remained scoreless.

Defensive Solidarity

The two teams boasted some of the league's best defensive records heading into the fixture. Ita Mbong’s center-back pairing of Ngo Mbele and Mbah was particularly impressive, making last-ditch tackles and aerial clearances. Vision Foot’s goalkeeper, Bih, was equally commanding, claiming crosses and making a crucial save in the 82nd minute.

League Standings Context

The result earned each team a single point, leaving them in mid-table positions. For Ita Mbong, the draw continued a run of three matches without defeat, while Vision Foot missed a chance to climb into the top four. The clean sheet, however, will please both coaching staffs as the season enters its decisive phase.

What's Next

Both sides will look to turn draws into wins in their upcoming matches. Ita Mbong Women face a relegation-threatened opponent next week, while Vision Foot (W) prepare for a crucial encounter against a title contender. The lack of goals in this game may prompt both managers to tweak their attacking setups.
