The match, held on 14 May 2026 at 20:00 local time, saw the home side control proceedings from start to finish, strengthening their position in the league standings.

Match Overview

From the opening whistle, Dja Sports Women imposed their rhythm, pressing high and creating several early chances. The defensive unit remained solid, denying Agai FC any clear-cut opportunities. The breakthrough came in the first half, with Dja Sports converting a well-worked move to take a deserved lead. The second half followed a similar pattern, as the home side doubled their advantage with a second goal midway through the period, effectively sealing the three points.

Key Moments

• First-half opener: A precise through ball split the Agai defence, allowing the Dja Sports forward to slot home calmly.
• Second-half clincher: A set-piece header from a corner kick gave the goalkeeper no chance, putting the result beyond doubt.
• Clean sheet: The Dja Sports backline and goalkeeper combined to keep a fifth clean sheet of the season, a testament to their organisation and discipline.

Tactical Story

Dja Sports Women set up in a 4-3-3 formation, prioritising width and quick transitions. Their wingers consistently stretched the Agai defence, while the midfield trio controlled the tempo. Agai FC, by contrast, struggled to build sustained attacks, often losing possession in the final third. The home team’s ability to switch play rapidly proved decisive, leaving Agai chasing shadows for much of the match.

Standout Player

The Dja Sports central midfielder was instrumental, completing over 90% of her passes and providing the assist for the second goal. Her vision and work rate earned her the player-of-the-match honours, as she dictated play from deep positions.

Season Impact

With this win, Dja Sports Women continue their push for a top-four finish in the Cameroon Women’s League. Agai FC, meanwhile, remain in the lower half of the table and will need to sharpen their attacking edge in upcoming fixtures. The result underscores the home side’s growing confidence as the season progresses.
