Match Overview

From the first whistle, Authentic de Douala pressed forward, eager to please their home crowd at Stade de la Réunification. The hosts dominated possession and created the better chances, notably in the 15th minute when a powerful shot from the edge of the box forced a sharp save from the FC Ebolowa goalkeeper. However, the visitors defended resolutely, with their centre-back pairing making crucial blocks and interceptions throughout the first half.

In the second half, FC Ebolowa grew into the game and had their own spells of pressure. A dangerous free kick in the 73rd minute curled just over the crossbar, and a close-range header in the 82nd minute was brilliantly tipped onto the post by the Authentic goalkeeper. Despite late substitutions and increased urgency, neither side could break the deadlock.
