Tactical Story

The midfield trio dominated possession, constantly feeding the front three with through balls and crosses. CGI April 7 U20 tried to play out from the back but were repeatedly dispossessed, and their lack of experience showed in their positional discipline. Paduano's wingers stretched the defence, creating space for overlapping full-backs and turning the match into a shooting drill.

For CGI April 7 U20, the goalkeeper made several saves to prevent an even heavier defeat, but it was a tough night for the young side, who were outmatched in every department.

Season Impact

This victory lifts Paduano RJ up the Campeonato Carioca C standings and sends a warning to their promotion rivals. The five-goal margin could prove crucial if goal difference decides the final standings. CGI April 7 U20 remain without a point and will need to regroup quickly. Paduano's next fixture will be approached with confidence, while the U20 side must learn from this harsh lesson against senior professionals.
