Anapolina W delivered a dominant display in the Brazilian Paulista Women's League, sweeping aside Flugoiania Women 4-1 in a match that highlighted the gulf in attacking efficiency between the two sides.

Anapolina take charge early

Anapolina W started brightly and needed little time to establish control. Their midfield pressed aggressively, winning the ball back quickly and feeding a forward line that looked sharp from the first whistle. The opening goal arrived early and set the tone for a one-sided first half.

A second goal followed as Anapolina's quick passing and movement pulled the Flugoiania defence out of shape. By the interval, the hosts were firmly in command and the visitors had managed only sporadic forays into attacking areas.

Four goals and a consolation

The second half brought two more goals for Anapolina, who continued to attack with purpose rather than sitting on their lead. The scoring was shared across the team, a sign of the collective attacking threat that makes them difficult to defend against.

Flugoiania Women did manage a consolation goal, a well-taken effort that offered a reward for their persistence. But it was a minor note in an otherwise comprehensive victory for the home side, who controlled the tempo throughout and never looked like surrendering their advantage.

Key moments

• Early opener: Anapolina strike first after a bright start.
• Second before the break: Quick passing opens up the Flugoiania defence.
• Third after the restart: The hosts maintain their attacking intensity.
• Flugoiania consolation: A well-taken goal rewards the visitors' persistence.
• Fourth goal: Anapolina complete a convincing 4-1 win.

What the result means

In the Paulista Women's League, where goal difference can shape final standings, a 4-1 victory carries real value. Anapolina W's ability to score from multiple positions makes them a dangerous opponent, and this performance will strengthen their confidence as the campaign progresses.

For Flugoiania Women, the defeat is a reminder of the work needed to compete consistently at this level. Their consolation goal shows they can create chances, but limiting opponents' opportunities at the other end will be essential if they are to climb the table. Anapolina, on this evidence, look well placed to challenge for honours.
