CRESSPOM Women produced a ruthless away performance to dismantle Ceilândia Women 5-0 on Saturday 19 September 2026, delivering one of the most emphatic scorelines of the round in the Brazilian women's competition. Five goals, a clean sheet and complete control from the first minute to the last made this a statement victory for the visitors.

Match Overview

Matches between clubs from the Federal District carry extra weight, and the contrast between the two sides could not have been starker. Ceilândia Women struggled to keep possession in the opening phases, while CRESSPOM Women pressed with real structure, won the ball high up the pitch and attacked in waves.

The visitors' shape was the foundation of everything. A compact midfield three cut off the central passing lanes, forcing Ceilândia to go long, where the CRESSPOM centre-backs won almost every aerial duel. From those turnovers, the counters came quickly and directly.

Ruthless Finishing

What separated the two teams most clearly was efficiency in the final third. CRESSPOM needed only a handful of clear chances to build a commanding lead, and once the goals started flowing, Ceilândia's confidence visibly drained. The movement of the front line — rotating, dropping deep and pulling centre-backs out of position — created space that the midfield runners exploited repeatedly.

By the closing stages the contest had become something close to a training exercise, with CRESSPOM passing the ball with authority and Ceilândia simply trying to limit the damage.

Key Moments

• Early breakthrough: CRESSPOM's high press forces an error and the opening goal arrives inside the first quarter of the match.
• Doubling the lead: A quick counter-attack and a composed finish make it 2-0 before half-time.
• Second half: The visitors add a third soon after the restart, effectively ending any hope of a comeback.
• Closing stages: Two further goals, including a well-taken strike from outside the box, complete the rout.
• Clean sheet: CRESSPOM's goalkeeper makes a smart late save to preserve the shutout.

Standout Performers

CRESSPOM's attacking players will dominate the highlights, with the forward line combining movement and finishing throughout the ninety minutes. The midfield trio deserves just as much credit, however, for the way they controlled tempo and repeatedly won the ball back in advanced areas.

For Ceilândia Women, it was a difficult evening in which few players were able to impose themselves. The goalkeeper kept the score from becoming even more lopsided with a series of second-half stops, and the captain's efforts to reorganise a defence under constant pressure were admirable even in defeat.

What It Means

A 5-0 away win does more than add three points. It sends a clear message to the rest of the division about CRESSPOM Women's attacking capabilities and their ability to manage a game from a winning position. Goal difference can decide tight tables, and a result like this could prove valuable later in the campaign.

Ceilândia Women must now regroup quickly, tighten their defensive structure and rediscover the composure on the ball that deserted them here. Their next fixture offers an immediate opportunity to respond — and in a league where momentum can swing fast, a strong reaction would go a long way towards putting this result behind them.
