KACM Marrakech and DHJ Difaa Hassani Jadidi played out a 1-1 draw in The Botola Pro at the Stade de Marrakech. KACM took the lead in the first half, but DHJ responded with a second-half equaliser to claim a valuable away point.

The result leaves both sides with positives to take from a competitive encounter. KACM showed attacking intent and controlled long spells of the match, while DHJ demonstrated resilience and tactical discipline to come from behind.

Match Overview

KACM Marrakech started brightly and took the lead in the 29th minute through Youssef El Amrani, who finished neatly after a flowing move down the left. The home side continued to press and created several half-chances before the break, but they could not add a second goal.

DHJ improved significantly in the second half. They pressed higher and forced KACM into mistakes, eventually equalising in the 74th minute when Abderrahmane El Houasli converted from close range after a goalmouth scramble. Both teams pushed for a winner in the closing stages, but neither could find the decisive moment.

• 29th minute: Youssef El Amrani gives KACM Marrakech the lead with a composed finish.
• 41st minute: KACM go close to doubling their lead, but the DHJ goalkeeper makes a fine save.
• 74th minute: Abderrahmane El Houasli equalises for DHJ after a period of sustained pressure.
• 82nd minute: KACM push forward in search of a winner, but DHJ’s defence holds firm.

Tactical Story

KACM’s first-half performance was built on quick passing and attacking width. They targeted the flanks and created problems for DHJ’s full-backs, with El Amrani’s goal coming from exactly that kind of move. However, the home side’s failure to convert their dominance into a second goal proved costly.

DHJ adjusted their shape after the break, pressing higher and winning more second balls in midfield. That change allowed them to sustain pressure and eventually find the equaliser. In the final stages, both teams showed caution, unwilling to risk losing the point they had earned.

Standout Players

Youssef El Amrani was KACM’s most dangerous player, combining sharp movement with good link-up play. Their goalkeeper also made an important save in the first half to preserve the lead at a crucial moment.

For DHJ, Abderrahmane El Houasli took his goal well and worked hard to lead the line. Their midfield improved as the game progressed and played a key role in turning the contest around after half-time.

What It Means

The draw adds a point to both teams’ totals in The Botola Pro and leaves them with work to do as the season unfolds. KACM will be frustrated not to have taken all three points after a strong first-half display, while DHJ will be pleased with their second-half response.

Both sides will now look ahead to their next fixtures, knowing that converting promising performances into victories will be essential in a competitive Botola Pro campaign.
