Tactical story

Integracion Del Norte’s early plan was clear: press aggressively, win the ball in advanced areas and attack before Chaco FC Cobija could set their defensive block. It worked perfectly in the opening half-hour, as the hosts created overloads on the flanks and moved the ball quickly into the box.

Chaco FC Cobija adjusted well after falling behind. They began to hold possession more patiently and used the width of the pitch to stretch Integracion Del Norte’s midfield. Their equaliser forced the hosts to rethink, and the game became more open as both sides chased the next goal.

In the end, Integracion Del Norte’s ability to raise the tempo again in the final 15 minutes proved decisive. Their winning goal came from a sustained attacking sequence that Chaco FC Cobija could not fully clear.

Standout performers

Integracion Del Norte’s attacking players caused problems throughout, with sharp movement and direct running stretching the Chaco defence. The midfield also deserve credit for regaining control after the visitors had equalised.

Chaco FC Cobija’s comeback was driven by their captain and attacking midfielder, who found space between the lines and helped turn the match into a contest. Their goalkeeper made important saves, but the visitors will regret conceding three goals in a game where they showed real fighting spirit.

What it means for the Reserve Cup

The win gives Integracion Del Norte San Juan a memorable three points and reinforces their attacking potential in the Bolivian Reserve Cup. Scoring three times against a resilient opponent will boost confidence, though the coaching staff will want to address the defensive lapse that allowed Chaco FC Cobija back into the game.

For Chaco FC Cobija, the defeat is painful but the performance offered positives. A two-goal comeback away from home shows character, and the challenge now is to turn that fighting spirit into a full 90-minute result.
