ABFF U19 Women produced a controlled and confident display to beat Dyussh Polesgu Women 2-0 in the Belarusian Women's Premier League on 27 September 2026. The young ABFF side, built around the national federation's development programme, showed the quality that makes them one of the most intriguing projects in Belarusian women's football, taking their chances and keeping a clean sheet in front of their home supporters.

Match Overview

From the first whistle, ABFF U19 Women looked the more purposeful side. Their pressing was coordinated, their passing in midfield was crisp, and they consistently asked questions of a Dyussh Polesgu defence that spent much of the game retreating towards its own penalty area. Dyussh Polesgu, to their credit, remained organised and looked to spring counter-attacks through their wide players, but the final ball consistently let them down.

Key Moments

• First goal: ABFF U19 broke the deadlock midway through the opening period, finishing a flowing move that started with a tackle in midfield and ended with a first-time strike inside the area.
• Chance to double the lead: A shot from distance rattled the frame of the goal as the hosts pressed for a second before the break.
• Second goal: After the interval, ABFF U19 added a deserved second, converting from close range after a delivery from the left was only half-cleared.
• Game management: With a two-goal cushion, the hosts slowed the tempo and controlled possession, denying Dyussh Polesgu any route back into the contest.

Tactical Story

ABFF U19 Women set up with a high line and an aggressive midfield press, forcing long balls out of Dyussh Polesgu and winning the majority of second balls. Their build-up play was patient, with the full-backs providing width and the central midfielders rotating to create passing lanes. The two goals, though different in construction, both came from sustained possession in the opposition half.

Dyussh Polesgu's best moments came when they bypassed the press quickly. Their number ten found pockets of space between the lines on several occasions, but the lack of support in the final third meant promising moves fizzled out. Defensively, they defended their box bravely, but the sheer volume of crosses and cut-backs eventually told.

Standout Performers

The ABFF U19 goalkeeper was rarely tested but dealt confidently with high balls and set pieces, while the centre-back pairing marshalled the line impressively. In midfield, the deeper-lying playmaker dictated the tempo and broke up play, and the forward line's movement created constant problems for the visiting defence.

For Dyussh Polesgu Women, the goalkeeper kept the scoreline respectable with a string of saves, and the captain's leadership at the back prevented a heavier defeat.

League Context

A 2-0 win is a meaningful result in the Belarusian Women's Premier League, where the top sides are separated by fine margins. For ABFF U19 Women, the victory is another marker of the progress of the federation's youth development pathway, showing that a squad of young players can compete physically and tactically against established club opposition. For Dyussh Polesgu Women, the focus will be on finding more creativity and support for their forwards in the coming fixtures.
