Slutsksakhar Slutsk cruise to 4-1 win at FC Molodechno

Full-time: FC Molodechno 1-4 Slutsksakhar Slutsk

Slutsksakhar Slutsk produced a ruthless attacking display to beat FC Molodechno 4-1 in the Belarusian First League, turning a competitive opening period into a commanding away victory. The visitors scored at key moments, absorbed Molodechno’s brief response and then pulled clear with a clinical second-half performance.

Match overview

Molodechno began with energy and tried to press high, but Slutsk’s quick passing through midfield soon created problems. The away side opened the scoring early, only for Molodechno to find an equaliser and briefly raise hopes of an upset. Slutsk restored their lead before half-time, however, and never relinquished control after the interval. Two further goals in the second half completed a convincing scoreline.

Key moments

• 9th minute: Aleksey Tishchenko gave Slutsk the lead with a composed finish after a neat move down the right.
• 34th minute: FC Molodechno equalised when Denis Lebedev converted from close range following a corner.
• 41st minute: Slutsk regained the advantage as Dmitry Karpov curled a shot beyond the goalkeeper.
• 68th minute: Tishchenko added his second, finishing off a fast counter-attack.
• 85th minute: Sergey Polyakov completed the scoring with a low drive from the edge of the box.

Tactical story

Slutsk’s midfield trio controlled the tempo, winning second balls and releasing their forwards into space. Molodechno struggled to track runners once possession was lost, and their defensive line was repeatedly stretched by Slutsk’s direct running. The away side also pressed intelligently, forcing turnovers in dangerous areas and converting them into scoring chances. By contrast, Molodechno’s build-up became increasingly frantic as the match wore on.

Standout players

Tishchenko was the standout performer with a well-taken brace, combining sharp movement with tidy finishing. Karpov dictated play from midfield and capped his display with a goal, while Polyakov’s late strike underlined Slutsk’s attacking depth. For Molodechno, Lebedev took his goal well and worked hard, but he was too isolated for much of the second half.

Season impact

The result strengthens Slutsksakhar Slutsk’s position in the Belarusian First League and sends a clear message about their attacking potential. For FC Molodechno, the heavy home defeat highlights the need for greater defensive compactness and better game management after conceding. With the season still unfolding, Slutsk will view this as a statement win, while Molodechno must regroup quickly to avoid a damaging run of form.
