Final score: Potkozarje 1-1 Leotar

Potkozarje and Leotar shared the points in the BIH PL-RS on September 27, 2026, drawing 1-1 in a hard-fought contest. Potkozarje took a first-half lead, but Leotar responded after the break and might have won it late as both sides pushed for a decisive second goal.

Opening summary and context

The BIH PL-RS — the Premier League of Republika Srpska — is known for competitive, physical football, and this match followed that pattern. Potkozarje, playing at home, wanted to use their local support and direct style to unsettle Leotar, one of the more established clubs in the division. Leotar, from Trebinje, arrived with ambitions of challenging near the top of the table and controlled long spells of possession. The draw leaves both teams with mixed feelings: Potkozarje will value the point, while Leotar will feel they did enough to win.

Key moments and goals

• 22’ — Potkozarje take the lead: Miloš Vujić scored with a well-placed header from a right-sided cross. The home crowd erupted as Vujić found space between two defenders and guided the ball into the far corner.
• 41’ — Leotar push for an equaliser: A shot from the edge of the box forced a smart save from the Potkozarje goalkeeper, and the follow-up was blocked behind for a corner.
• 58’ — Leotar level: Stefan Govedarica equalised with a low drive from just inside the penalty area after a neat exchange of passes. The move cut through Potkozarje’s midfield and gave the goalkeeper no chance.
• 76’ — Potkozarje nearly retake the lead: A free-kick from 20 yards clipped the outside of the post with the Leotar goalkeeper beaten.
• 90+2’ — Leotar’s late chance: A header from a corner drifted just wide as Leotar pressed for a winner.

Tactical story

Potkozarje set up to be compact and difficult to break down, using a 4-4-2 shape that looked to deny Leotar space in central areas. Their goal came from one of their best attacking moments: a quick switch of play and a dangerous cross. Leotar, meanwhile, built patiently from the back and tried to overload the flanks. Their equaliser was a good example of their approach — short passes, movement off the ball, and a finish from the edge of the box. In the final 20 minutes, both teams opened up, but neither could find a winner.

Standout players

Miloš Vujić was Potkozarje’s most dangerous player, not only for his goal but for his hold-up play and ability to bring others into the match. Stefan Govedarica drove Leotar forward from midfield and scored the crucial equaliser. Leotar’s goalkeeper made an important first-half save, while Potkozarje’s centre-backs stood firm under late pressure. The match was a good advertisement for the intensity and competitiveness of the BIH PL-RS.

Table impact and what’s next

The draw gives both clubs another point in the BIH PL-RS standings. Leotar remain in the hunt for a high finish, but they will be frustrated to drop points after controlling much of the second half. Potkozarje will take confidence from competing with one of the stronger sides in the division and will look to build on this performance in their next home fixture. The head-to-head record remains tight, and the return match later in the season could be an important moment for both teams’ ambitions.
