Drina Zvornik delivered one of their most convincing performances of the season on 17 October 2026, dismantling Famos Vojkovići 4-0 in the BIH PL-RS. The home side controlled the match from the opening exchanges, scored twice before half-time, and added two more after the break to turn a potentially awkward fixture into a statement victory.

Match overview

Drina Zvornik set the tone early with an aggressive press and quick ball movement in wide areas. The breakthrough arrived in the 12th minute when Nemanja Jovanović latched onto a loose ball inside the penalty area and finished low into the corner. Famos Vojkovići tried to settle into a compact defensive shape, but they struggled to keep possession under pressure and conceded again seven minutes before the interval. Marko Petrović doubled the lead with a composed finish after Aleksandar Ilić sliced open the defence with a clever through ball.

The second half followed a similar pattern. Drina remained the sharper side, and Jovanović grabbed his second of the night in the 64th minute with a header from a well-delivered cross. Stefan Đurić completed the scoring in the 82nd minute, converting from close range after Famos failed to clear a corner. The visitors’ best spell came shortly after half-time, but they could not find a way past a disciplined Drina defence.

Key moments

The opening goal was crucial. It allowed Drina Zvornik to play with freedom and forced Famos Vojkovići to step out of their defensive block. The second goal just before the break was arguably the decisive blow, coming at a point when the away side had begun to steady themselves. Jovanović’s second goal early in the second half removed any lingering doubt, while Đurić’s late finish added gloss to the scoreline.

Tactical story

Drina Zvornik’s high pressing and wide overloads caused problems throughout. Their midfield won the majority of second balls, and the front line repeatedly attacked the space behind Famos’s full-backs. Famos Vojkovići attempted to defend deep and counter through the channels, but poor retention in midfield left their forwards isolated. Once Drina scored first, the match became an uphill battle for the visitors.

Standout players

• Nemanja Jovanović — two goals and a constant threat in the box.
• Marko Petrović — controlled the tempo and scored the important second goal.
• Aleksandar Ilić — provided creativity and assisted the second goal.

Season impact

The three points strengthen Drina Zvornik’s position in the BIH PL-RS standings and boost their goal difference significantly. For Famos Vojkovići, the heavy defeat is a reminder of the work needed defensively, especially away from home. Drina will look to build on this result, while Famos must regroup quickly before their next fixture.
