HNK Capljina 1-1 NK TOSK Tesanj: Points Shared in BIH PL-FBiH Battle

HNK Capljina and NK TOSK Tesanj shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in the BIH PL-FBiH on 17 October 2026, with both sides claiming a point from a hard-fought contest. The match was competitive from start to finish, and a draw was a fair reflection of an evening in which neither team managed to dominate for long periods.

Capljina took the lead in the first half and looked comfortable for a spell, but Tesanj responded well after the break and found an equaliser. Both teams pushed for a winner in the closing stages, yet resolute defending and some wasteful finishing meant the scoreline remained level.

Match Overview

The home side started with intent, pressing high and forcing Tesanj into early mistakes. Capljina’s reward came midway through the first half when a well-delivered corner was met with a powerful header. The goal energised the hosts, who controlled possession for the remainder of the opening period without adding to their tally.

Tesanj regrouped at half-time and emerged with a more aggressive approach. They pressed higher, won more duels in midfield and began to create chances. The equaliser arrived after a quick break down the left, finished with a composed strike across the goalkeeper. Both sides had late opportunities to win it, but neither could find the decisive touch.

Key Moments

• Capljina opener: A corner from the right was headed home to give the hosts a first-half lead.
• Tesanj equaliser: The visitors levelled after the break with a fast counter-attack and a low finish.
• Late chances: Both teams had set-piece opportunities in the final 10 minutes, but the goalkeepers were equal to them.

Tactical Story

Capljina’s first-half performance was built on control and set-piece danger. They kept the ball well, forced Tesanj deep and looked dangerous from wide deliveries. However, after taking the lead, they sat slightly deeper and invited pressure, which allowed the visitors back into the game.

Tesanj adjusted their shape after the interval, pushing their full-backs higher and committing more players into midfield. That change gave them a foothold in the contest and helped them create the equaliser. In the final stages, both teams showed ambition, but the tactical discipline of the defences ensured the points were shared.

Standout Players

Capljina’s central defender was dominant in the air and scored the opening goal, while their goalkeeper made a sharp save late on to preserve a point. Tesanj’s midfielder was the driving force behind their comeback, constantly linking play and finding space between the lines. Both centre-forwards worked hard, but clear chances were limited.

Season Impact

The draw adds another point to both teams’ tallies in the BIH PL-FBiH and keeps them level on the night. In a league where consistency is crucial, Capljina will be frustrated at letting a lead slip, while Tesanj will take confidence from their second-half response. The result leaves both sides with plenty to build on as the season progresses.
