NK Travnik claimed a narrow but thoroughly deserved 1-0 away victory over FK Radnik Hadžići in the BIH PL-FBiH on Saturday evening, a result decided by a single moment of quality in a hard-fought contest.

On a night when clear chances were at a premium, Travnik's ability to take the one genuine opening that came their way proved decisive. The visitors defended their lead with discipline through the closing stages, frustrating a Radnik side that pushed numbers forward but could not find an equaliser.

Match Overview

• Competition: BIH PL-FBiH (First League of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina)
• Result: FK Radnik Hadžići 0-1 NK Travnik
• Date: 26 September 2026
• Venue: Hadžići, Bosnia and Herzegovina

The first half was a cagey affair, with both teams well organised and reluctant to commit too many players forward. Radnik looked to use their home advantage by pressing aggressively in midfield, but Travnik's back line held its shape and dealt comfortably with a series of crosses into the area.

The decisive goal came from Travnik's most fluent attacking passage of the match — a move that started deep in their own half and ended with a calm finish past the Radnik goalkeeper. It was the kind of goal that punished Radnik for a momentary lapse in concentration, and it proved enough to settle the fixture.

Key Moments

Radnik's best spell came immediately after conceding. The home side raised their tempo, forced a sequence of corners, and came close with a header that sailed over the crossbar. Travnik's goalkeeper was called into action twice in quick succession, producing a strong save low to his right to preserve the lead.

In the final twenty minutes, Radnik committed more bodies forward and switched to a more direct style, but Travnik's defenders stood firm, blocking shots and clearing their lines with composure. A late free-kick in a promising position came to nothing, summing up the home side's evening.

Tactical Story

Travnik's game plan was built on defensive solidity and quick transitions. Rather than dominating possession, they looked to absorb pressure, keep their shape, and strike when Radnik's full-backs advanced. That approach suited the conditions and the opposition perfectly, and it produced the only goal of the game.

Radnik's challenge was a familiar one for teams in the BIH PL-FBiH: how to break down a well-drilled, deep-lying opponent. Their midfield created plenty of territory but too few clear-cut chances, and their final ball repeatedly let them down in the attacking third. It is a problem their coaching staff will want to address quickly.

Standout Performers

The Travnik goalkeeper was arguably the man of the match, with two second-half saves that protected the three points. The goalscorer, meanwhile, showed excellent composure to finish the game's defining chance, and the central defensive pairing handled everything Radnik threw at them in the closing stages.

For Radnik, the midfield anchor was their most consistent performer, breaking up play and distributing effectively, while the substitute introduced in the second half added energy and directness. What they lacked was a finishing touch.

Table and Season Impact

Away wins of this nature are invaluable in the First League of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where travel and tight margins often decide campaigns. NK Travnik leave Hadžići with three points and a clean sheet, a combination that builds belief and strengthens their position in the standings.

FK Radnik Hadžići, meanwhile, will reflect on a match in which they were competitive throughout but lacked the cutting edge required. The response in their next fixture will be telling, as the club looks to turn solid performances into points.
