Sitra suffered a 0-2 home defeat against Najma Manama in the Bahrain Premier League on 12 October 2026. At the Sitra Club Stadium, Najma Manama produced a disciplined away performance, scoring in each half and keeping a clean sheet to secure all three points.

Najma Manama take the lead

The match began with both sides looking to establish rhythm, but Najma Manama were the more incisive team in the final third. Their patience paid off in the 29th minute when a well-timed run was picked out, and the finish beat the Sitra goalkeeper. The goal gave Najma Manama a deserved lead and forced Sitra to chase the game.

Sitra tried to respond before half-time, earning a few corners and sending crosses into the box. Najma Manama’s defence, however, remained organised and limited clear chances. The visitors went into the break with a 1-0 advantage and a strong platform to build on.

Second goal seals the win

The second half saw Sitra push more players forward in search of an equaliser, but that left space for Najma Manama to exploit. In the 64th minute, the visitors doubled their lead with a composed finish after a quick transition. It was a decisive blow, and Sitra’s task became even harder.

Najma Manama managed the remainder of the match intelligently, slowing the tempo and defending in compact blocks. Sitra continued to probe, but their crosses were cleared and their long-range efforts lacked accuracy. The final whistle confirmed a valuable away victory and a clean sheet for Najma Manama.
